• Required Licenses and Certifications: ARRT and Wisconsin license, AHA BLS - all required

  • X-ray Tech position available at Aspirus Wausau Hospital
  • Start Date: 1/6/25
  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 hour guarantee
  • Shift Requirements: 8 hr shifts. Variables. Start times from 5am-10am
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Experience: Minimum of 1 year.
    • PRIOR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
    • Trauma Level II and experience in a 200+ bed facility within the last 2 years REQUIRED
    • Charting Experience: EPIC radiant preferred, not required
    • Unit Specific Skillset: Routine XRay & Portables in Hospital. Needs to be comfortable in working in the OR.
    • Capable of skilled positioning of patients typically in their 30's to geriatrics.
    • Experience with adult patients in medical surgical intensive care units, cardiac care units, med-surg, and emergency care as well as being skilled with portable work.
      • Schedule Information
      • 8 hr shifts with variable start times from 5am-10am
      • Float Requirements: May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed.
      • On Call/Call Back Requirements: Not required
      • Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: weekends as needed. Holiday rotation
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Skilled in positioning high acuity patients
        • Someone that has experience working with adult patients in various units
        • Comfortable with portable work in the OR
          • Additional Details
          • Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
          • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
          • Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
