Job Description:

Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE: Support the development and enhancement of business intelligence tools and analytics solutions. Research and provide guidance to the Reporting and Analytics team on the use of new technologies including AI and automation tools. Work closely with senior analysts and developers to deliver key projects that align with the team's goals.
CORE DUTIES:

1. Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting and analytics tools using Power BI.

2. Investigate the use of new innovative tools, specifically around AI and automation within the Microsoft Fabric platform.

3. Collaborate with the analytics team to gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business initiatives.

4. Work with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

5. Participate in the testing and validation of data to ensure accuracy and integrity across analytics solutions.

6. Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis as needed to support various departments.

7. Document all work processes, models, and procedures for future reference.8. Demonstrates inclusion through their own words and actions and is accountable for a safe workspace. Acts with kindness, curiosity and respect for others.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science, or a related field.

2. Strong data and analytical skills with a passion for working with data.

3. Proficiency in Excel and at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.

4. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

7. High School diploma or proven work experience that ensures readiness for success in this role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Previous internship or project experience in data analysis or business intelligence.

2. Proficiency or Experience using SQL.
3. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilots.

4. Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time.

2. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
