    • Workers Compensation - As an Occupational Therapist, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
      • In-home: work within homes to ensure positive progression of client's health and wellness in regards to Occupational Therapy needs. -
      • Staffing: Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury in nursing homes, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, clinics and hospitals
      • Work with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs, PTs and SLPs to provide excellent patient care
      • Assist physician in evaluation of patient function, deficits, fall risks and adaptive equipment needs
      • Assess patient, establish therapy goals, document progress and modify therapy as needed
      • Assist patient with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination
      • Educate patients and family on established goals, exercises, safety and self-care A few must-haves for Occupational Therapists:
        • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in Wisconsin
        • Minimum of 1 -years of occupational therapy experience in a medical facility
        • CPR certification -
        • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
