Job Description:
Store - MADISON-MIDDLETON, WIPlan, coordinate, and facilitate
events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store to
provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests.
Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop at our
store and find what they're looking for. Ensure all customers
receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete
operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and
maintaining store recovery standards as needed to deliver our Brand
Promises.Event CoordinationPlan and coordinate multiple events at
once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes
or events.Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by
creating an environment of fun and creativity.Demonstrate and
instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects,
perform face painting and other activities.Facilitate and implement
party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company
standards.Communicate events with clients and store team
members.Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails,
making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.Adjust plans
and events based on client's feedback and needs.Create backup or
emergency plans to be executed as needed.Ensure client satisfaction
for scheduled events.Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety
standards. Set up, break down, and clean before and after each
event.Customer ExperienceHelp customers shop, locate products, and
provide them with solutions.Provide fast and friendly check out
experience.Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and
Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.Educate
customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.Assist with Omni channel
processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship
From Store (SFS)Participate in the truck un-load, stocking and
planogram (POGs) processes.Complete merchandise recovery and
maintenance.Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set
duties as assigned.Support shrink and safety programsAdhere to
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure
compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company
policies and standards.Interact with others in an accepting and
respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in
difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization's
vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role
model for other Team MembersCross trained in Custom Framing selling
and production.Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
including (but not limited to) sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and
maintaining cleanliness of restroomsOther duties as

personality.The ability to handle job stress and interact
effectively with others, including guests of all ages and

experience requiredPhysical RequirementsWork EnvironmentAbility to
remain standing for long periods of time.Ability to move throughout
the store.Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and
stretching.Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder
