  • 36 beds Med Surg Intermediate Care unit
  • Heavy Tele
  • Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke
  • Primary Patients/Insulin Drips Patient Ratio: 4:1
  • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
  • Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely- fast past unit
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Experience: 2+ years experience required- firm on this
    • Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience REQUIRED
    • ICU experience, preferred
    • Trauma Level II preferred
    • Ventilator/Trach experience required
    • At least 1 prior travel experience REQUIRED
    • Charting Experience: EPIC preferred

      • Contract Length: 13 weeks
      • Start Date: 12/2/24
      • **THIS UNIT HAS THE CONTRACT END ON SUNDAY NOT SATURDAY
      • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs
      • Shift Requirements: 12 hour days 7a-730p
      • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday

        • Unit Information: 36 beds. Med Surg Intermediate Care unit.

          • Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
          • IMC RN-Wausau WI
          • ** Auto Offer Unit**
          • Float Requirements: AWH all inpatient units, as needed. Typically will float to higher acuity units
          • On Call/Call Back Requirements: NA
          • Scrub Colors: any color scrubs
          • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
