Job Description:

Registered Nurse role in Neuro ICU with 48 guaranteed hours per week, 12 hour night shifts, and every other weekend and holiday. 2 years minimum experience in Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU with strong assessment skills in Neuro and EPIC charting experience required.Responsibilities:

  • Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e., line placement, intubation)
  • Bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
  • Care for Neuro interventional patientsRequirements:
    • 2 years experience in Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU with strong assessment skills in Neuro
    • EPIC charting experienceShift and Schedule:
      • 12 hour night shifts
      • Every other weekend
      • Every other holidayFloat and On Call:
        • Will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units and other critical care units
        • No on call or callback requirementsPersonal Qualities:
          • Hard worker
          • Resilient
          • Able to manage independently and complete tasks timelyScrubs: Any color scrubs allowed.
