As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to assist our veterinarians in providing top-notch care to our furry patients. Job Expectations: Perform anesthesia monitoring during surgical procedures Be a Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician Proficient in IV catheterization Assist with preventive care appointments Conduct dental prophylaxis procedures Provide excellent animal care and handling Skilled in catheterization techniques Assist with anesthesia administration Experience with venipuncture Assist with surgical procedures Experience with lab work and diagnostic testing Proficient in medication administration Skilled in taking X-rays Assist with wellness exams Maintain accurate medical records Assist with diagnostic procedures Ability to schedule appointments efficiently using AVImark Company Information: We are a neighborhood veterinary clinic providing small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry with the highest standard of care.
