Job Description:

The employee performs the full scope of professional respiratory care functions within the parameters of professional licensure and standards of practice in a skilled nursing facility under the Direction of the Nurse Manager.

Pay starting at $27.00 to $30.00 per hour

Part-Time - 0.6 FTE

Shift time - 6:00pm - 6:00 am

  Required:
  
  Associate Degree from an AMA approved school of respiratory care.
  
  Knowledge of pulmonary service standards and practices acquired through completion of an accredited course.
  
  Registered RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care, or registry eligible and obtained within one year of hire.
  
  Certified in CPR
  
  Valid Wisconsin driver's license and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by North Central Health Care.
  
  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  
  Contributes, participates, and supports the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) approach to providing quality care for residents.
  
  Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following
  
  manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  
  Transcribes physician orders.
  
  Maintains regular and predictable on-site attendance.
