  • Travel Nurse position available in CVICU
  • Part of Thedacare Health System
  • Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU needed
  • Contract length of 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36hrs
  • Primary Location: ThedaCare Appleton
  • Shift Requirements: 12hr Variable Days/NOCs
  • Weekends: Every other
  • Holidays: As needed
  • Education: BSN not Required, Strongly Preferred
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years REQUIRED
  • Minimum 2 years CVICU experience REQUIRED
  • Charting: Epic within the last year REQUIRED
  • Unit details: 22 bed general med/surg ICU with an open heart program
    • Job Requirements
    • No new travelers - at least one completed contract REQUIRED
    • AUTO OFFER UNIT
      • Schedule Information
      • 12hr Variable Days/NOCs
      • Start times: 530a, 530p
      • Weekends: Every other
      • Holidays: As needed
      • any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Details: 22 bed general med/surg ICU with an open heart program
        • Patient Population: respiratory failure, STEMI, IABP, Septic Shock, TTM, CRRT, COPD, CHF; Carotid endarterectomies, whipples, AAA
        • Ratio 1:2 could increase due to COVID
        • Required Skillset: Must have Fresh Heart experience. Phlebotomy skills strongly preferred (skill would be expected to learn)
