• Certification Details
• Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
• BLS must be certified through the American Heart Association ONLY
• Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
• Traveler will be required to pass the UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

    • Job Requirements
    • Traveler must include and/or meet all minimum requirements to be considered.
    • Do not submit candidates who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during the time frame of the entire assignment.
    • Only submit profiles who can work the schedule in the posting and are interested in the unit.
    • Traveler must have a permanent address outside 50-mile radius of Madison.
    • Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
    • Must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
    • Must have successfully completed a traveler assignment (13 weeks).
    • Associate degree in Nursing.
      • Schedule Information
      • The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
      • During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be reassigned to another unit in order to complete the contract.
      • Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age.

        • UW Health is moving away from using outdated file formats for Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Profiles will need to be submitted in .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx file types.
