• Certification Details
• Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS.

  • Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care
  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs
  • Unit Information: 36 beds. Med Surg Intermediate Care unit. Heavy Tele. Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke.
  • Primary Patients/Insulin Drips Patient Ratio: 4:1.
  • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely- fast past unit
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years experience required- firm on this.
    • Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience REQUIRED.
    • ICU experience, preferred.
    • Trauma Level II preferred.
    • Ventilator/Trach experience required.
    • At least 1 prior travel experience REQUIRED.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Requirements: 12 hour NOCS 700p-730a
      • Float Requirements: AWH all inpatient units, as needed. Typically will float to higher acuity units
      • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Charting Experience: EPIC preferred.
        • Scrub Colors: any color scrubs
          • Additional Details
          • Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
          • THIS UNIT HAS THE CONTRACT END ON SUNDAY NOT SATURDAY
          • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
