  Salary: Up to $41.00 per hour
  Job Responsibilities:
  The Infection Control/Certified Wound RN plays a critical role in evaluating resident care quality and outcomes related to healthcare-associated infections. Key responsibilities include:
  
  • 
    
  • Collecting, analyzing, and presenting infection-related data, and providing actionable recommendations to improve care.
    
  • Monitoring staff adherence to infection prevention measures and the proper use of protective barriers.
    
  • Developing and delivering educational programs for staff on infection control practices.
    
  • Serving as a valuable resource for all departments and personnel, offering guidance on infection control and wound care protocols.
    
  • Implementing programs to safeguard healthcare workers, visitors, and others in the facility.
    
  • Establishing and recommending policies and procedures to prevent adverse events.
    
  • Ensuring compliance with infection control regulations, guidelines, and accreditation standards.
    
  • Providing internal and external reporting of infection data and promoting regulatory compliance throughout the organization.
    
    This role is essential in maintaining high standards of infection control and wound care to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, staff, and visitors.
    Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      
    • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
      
    • Infection Control experience preferred
      
    • Wound Care certification required
