About the Role The Company is seeking an Interim Senior Director of
Laboratory Medicine to provide leadership and oversight for its
laboratory services. The successful candidate will be responsible
for the strategic and operational management of the laboratory
departments across multiple facilities. This role requires a
seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university, active accreditation as a Medical Laboratory
Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and a
strong background in laboratory knowledge and practice. Experience
in a unionized environment and with Cerner is also essential.The
Interim Senior Director will be tasked with ensuring the delivery
of high-quality, cost-effective patient care through the laboratory
services. This includes managing a team that consists of an
Associate Director and several Managers, and overseeing the
day-to-day operations, compliance with regulatory standards, and
the implementation of best practices. The ideal candidate will have
a proven track record in laboratory leadership, be adept at
problem-solving, and have excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. A commitment to diversity and inclusion, as well as the
