Vice President of Sales to provide support, leadership and coaching
to a commercial sales team. The VP of Sales will provide direction
to their team regarding sales support and development, customer
service, pricing, contract administration, marketing and more.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales associates to improve their selling abilities by
providing direct feedback and recommending process
improvements.
- Serve as an active member of the commercial leadership
team.
- Deliver needed results related to profitability, revenue
generation and asset utilization.
- Collaborate with the pricing, operations and customer service
teams.
- Be a transportation expert by monitoring market indicators and
establishing relationships with clients and industry experts.
- Ensure new opportunities are added to Schneider's portfolio and
existing opportunities are advanced.
- Create and execute a strategic plan to achieve the
organization's objectives.
- Act as an escalation point for negotiations with existing
customers. Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Able to travel 30-50% of the time. Pay and benefits:
