Role OverviewAs a Mechanic at First Student, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of the children who rely on us for transportation to and from school. This position involves performing routine maintenance on our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and safe for passengers.Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, including electrical and fuel systems
• Assist with mobile emergency services, providing on-the-spot repairs to get vehicles back on the road quickly
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely mannerRequirements
  • 1 year of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (don't worry, we will train you for this)
  • A mechanic's tool set
