Location: Green Bay, WIShift: 1st ShiftWork model: On-SiteSchedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmJob overview: Schneider is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Green Bay to provide support to Schneider's engineering team. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will handle equipment and system related problems as they arise and assist with continuous improvement opportunities Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for suppliers and internal associates on equipment, technical and system related issues.
• Research new and alternative products and make recommendations based on research.
• Assist with testing and developing new products.
• Act as a steward of continuous improvement of quality and safety. Internship-specific opportunities:
  • Networking events with Schneider associates.
  • Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders.
  • Business resource groups meetings and events.
  • Volunteer activities.
  • After-work social gatherings. Skills and qualifications:
    • Currently enrolled at a college or university.
    • Working toward a bachelor's degree in engineering.
    • Able to work full-time over the summer.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of technical and mechanical systems in trucks.
